The results of an autopsy report of a Zookeeper who had crossed paths with a tiger minutes before her death in April  was revealed yesterday.

In the report, it showed that Stacey Konwiser, 38, had died from  a fractured spine and lacerated jugular, after a 350-pound Malayian tiger had attacked her, according to the Associated Press , who had received this report from a medical examiner.

Citing from TIME.COM, Konwiser, who was the lead tiger keeper at Palm Beach Zoo,  had walked into the “night house,” where the tigers slept and ate. The Associated Press believes, that It is likely that her view of the tiger was limited at that time, and did not notice that the tiger’s cage was open, which shouldn’t have been the case.

She had screamed for dear life, in her radio but by the time that her co-workers had reached her, it was too late.

This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
