A Bronx woman has been permamently banned from using Uber’s services after she threatened to call the cops and falsely incriminate her Uber driver of rape.
The footage all caught on a dash-cam, shows the angry passenger, yelling at the male driver for almost 9 minutes straight.
According to the NY POST, the Bronx resident yelled that she would have him arrested, saying that she would punch herself in the face and tell the cops that he did.
“You’re going to jail,” she is heard repeatedly saying to him.
She went as far to say that “Donald Trump [is] going to send you and your family back [to your country].”
In response, an Uber spokeperson released a statement saying that ““The behavior in this video is abusive and completely unacceptable.”
She added that “As our Community Guidelines make clear, this will not be tolerated by anyone who uses Uber,” they added. “The rider’s account has been banned and Uber is looking into this incident.”
This altercation began when she asked him for an Iphone charger that he did not have on him.
“If I don’t have a charger, politely ask me. I’ll politely tell you, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t have a charger,’” the man said. “But you start disrespecting me.”
The Post reported that the names of both the passenger and the driver have not been publicized.
